I believe that if you have a car at his shop that you will get it back. You have to know that he has been pilfering cars like yours for parts though. It's pretty safe to assume that if he hasn't resold it somehow, that it will not be in nearly as good condition as it was when you sent it to him.
File a complaint with the NC Attorney General's office, police, FBI, and DMV. I just got a hold of the e-mail for the DMV today for the first time. There is a website called hitmantransam with a thread about Bob a mile long. It has a way to contact other victims. Google his name if ripoff takes the name off. There's power in numbers. I'm hoping that one of the authorities is about to act on him. He's going nuts lately. He's impersonating people and saying some absolutely outrageous things. Before, he just blamed everyone else. He's still doing that now of course, but he's also publicly making fun of his victims. That's not something a person usually does if they're still trying to swindle people.
