Bob's Discount Furniture Store Lied on delivery date to close sale worcester, Massachusetts

My boyfriend and I went to one store to purchase a living roon set. We really liked the furniture they had but they couldn't deliver it in the time frame we wanted. So we went to Bob's in worcester. We found a living room set that we liked almost as good as the other store. We went on a Sunday and we aske if the furniture could be delivered be fore the following Saturday. They told us the the furniture was in stock and we could have it delivered on the that Thursday between 6:30 and 8AM. No delivery, no call. When my boyfriend called to find out where our furniture is, they told him that the delivery was canceled because the furniture is on back order. He asked why he wasn't notified and they said "I don't know". Working in customer service my self, That is a big no, no to tell a customer. Then they tell him that we can not get delivery for another week. Our furniture is in the warehouse and supposidly on a truck but will take an additional week, after the promissed delivery date, to get our furniture. The whole purpose of us buying from Bob's was the delivery date. When a sales rep lies to make the sale and then the customer service team gives you the run around when you want to know what is going on, is a complete rip off. I will never buy another peice of furniture from that store again...
