i started using bookmooch.com about 3 weeks ago i added over 100 books from my invetory, within a few hours i had many requests for my books. i accepted them of course because i was so excited to finall be getting rid of my huge collection of books that were just gathering dust on my porch; i mailed out a bunch of them but beings you have to use your own money to pay for postage i could not get them all out at once. i am currently expecting and was having medical difficulties tht prevented me from getting to the post office; having sai that i went into my pending book list and rejected the previously unsent accepted books because i wasnt sure when i would have money to send books. I am also a member of paperbackswap.com and am used to having a persons credit on hold until the book is recieved by the requestor well apparently that is not the case with bookmooch.com; after adding my personal books i had a bunch of credits that i could use on books and i was really excited to start a new series. When i logged onto my account a few days ago it had said account closed no explaination no nothing not even an email from them; i finally was able to get a responce from there support team who are exteamly rude by the way telling me that becausei rejected my books there accusing me of fraud; i was highly confused because i had no idea what they were talking about and i explained to them that i was at the moment having difficulties and if i had known before hand that rejecting the books would have been an issu i would have just asked the reciever if they minded a delay in there mailings; i also asked them how many credits i needed to bring my account back into "good standing" and what do you know they just kept saying you rejected the books after asking for books thats fraud, and i dont know how many times i asked the same question of how is that fraud because in all honestly no it was not it was a simpl misunderstanding that could have surely been resolved if someone had emailed me before jumoming to such drastic actions; i would never have ordered books if i didnt think i had the credits for them and if i had understood more about how the site in whole worked and if i had read the reviews before hand i most definatly would not have joined i encourage everyone who sees this post never to become a part of bookmooch; they are a horrible group of people who are more than rude in there customer service department
