I emailed Bottarelli Research on January 8, 2014 to not renew my subscription. On January 14, 2014 they(he) charged my credit card for $800.00. I discovered this when I checked my credit card statement on February 1, 2014.
I again emailed Bottarelli Research and was informed there is a special form I had to fill out. You cannot find that form unless you use the Questions site located at the bottom of all his mailings. I filled the form out just to get a refund started.
That apparently reset my date of termination to February 1, 2014. They sent me a refund of $542.00. I immediatly posted a protest with my credit card company and started a series of emails to Bottarelli Research. The response was I terminated on February 1, 2014.
I knew Bryan Bottarelli had read my original email because he made reference to my December broker account in one of his newsletters. I finally sent an email to bryan@bottarelliresearch and he relented and sent me the addtional $258.00. It has posted to my credit card.
A couple of things I learned: There is a long disertation on terms and conditions for subscriptions. This is found at bottarelliresearch.com/terms-conditions/#subscription. Also the termination form information is hidden under questions on all of his emails.
