Brain Hurricane 'TJ' FROM BRAIN HURRICANE LIED ABOUT THE AMOUNT WE WERE GETTING FOR EACH KID WE SIGNED UP FOR TUTORING..... Chicago Illinois

My children were ripped off by brain hurricane !!!! i wrote this letter to brain hurricane regarding this matter its been over a year and I have got no call or response. They were paid for tutoring my children when my children were never tutored. Brain hurricane reels in children by signing up to receive a tablet and tutoring and they collect the money and your child gets nothing. I've called 50 times since last year and I guess they are too busy to attend to this matter because here we are over a year latter and still no explanation !!! Here's a letter I wrote to them today , I'm sure pigs will fly before I get answers 

My children applied last year and were approved by the state to receive services from your company brain hurricane. This was 2012 when they were approved and promised a tablet along with tutoring here in Moreno Valley  California . I was told they would start 2012 in October and when October came and went I called over 50 times and I left numerous voicemails and never had anyone call me to address these issues. Well my children's info was used by your company to be paid by the government and yet my children received no services and I could not even get a call back. I went to the school district last year to file fraud charges against your company and I will make sure every one in this city and the next knows your company is fraudulent . I went to the district this year who is in the process of having your company investigated by outside resources. I will take every measure to ensure that you do not cheat the system and lie to families promising tutoring and tablets and instead not giving services but receiving the funds from the government. I will be at the schools notifying parents about your con and I will make sure to follow through with seeing that your company is investigated. I have contacted several parents who are also victims of yours and we are all working hard to unveil the truth about your company. I again can't even receive a call back just 2 days ago when I called which tells me that you are not willing to give me or other parents answers . I know you still won't contact me which is okay because I will still follow thru with letting the government , federal or state know that you are taking money for services you did not render.

My name is Andrew Howard, and I am one of the owners of Brain Hurricane. Brain Hurricane is a family company that my mom, a lifelong educator, founded to extend engaging learning opportunities to at-risk schools that are in need of improvement (www.brainhurricane.com). The TJ that is cited in this report is my brother.

Orlando Rameriez worked with Brain Hurricane to reach out to parents, and let them know of free tutoring opportunities. For doing the difficult work of reaching out to parents, Brain Hurricane paid Orlando $20 for each parent that actually enrolled in and attended our program.

Orlando was responsible for 62 students that enrolled in our program that actually attended. (It is not uncommon for parents to enroll students that actually never attend.) Orlando's contract specifically indicates that students have to actually attend the program for him to receive the $20 per/student compensation.

Orlando's statements are not true. As you can see, he made his post on 2-11-2008, where he claimed that he had never been paid. Brain Hurricane did, in fact, pay Orlando. We paid him three times on or before the date of his post, dating back to November of 2007. Please see the dates and amounts of his checks below:

Orlando was trying to threaten Brain Hurricane in order to receive compensation that he was not owed, and posted things on this site that were not true. For example, he stated that as of 2-11-2008 he had not received one payment, when in fact he had been paid multiple times.

I think it is unfortunate that Orlando chose to post incorrect and inaccurate inflammatory information about Brain Hurricane on this site. I am presently pursuing action against Orlando to remove or clarify this information.

In the meantime, while this report remains online, I would be happy to personally speak with anyone who reads this post. Brain Hurricane is committed to operating ethically, and treats all representatives, employees, and clients with the highest level of respect.
