SEO Reputation Management at its best!

This company sold my father, soon to be 90, their "Procera and Ceraplex" without asking any screening questions, like AGE, does he take ASPIRIN, has he been diagnosed with ALZHEIMERS or DEMENTIA, or any other safety mechanisms to keep this product from falling into the wrong hands.   Their manager "Emmanuel" said it would be insulting to ask my father these questions.... how ridiculous.  They charged him $312.40 in December.  I asked for the money back when I discovered the invoice at the bottom of a pile of papers, typical for the elderly who have memory issues.    I was refused a refund from an arrogant company who could care less about the health of anyone.  If they were a reputable company, they would gladly return the fees, no questions asked, if they believed in their product.  Watch out, it will show up again under another name.  I have signed up for the Class Action Suit, hoping it is still being pursued and will write the  Attorney General of California about this harmful and predatory company that takes advantage of the elderly without a care for their true health.

Along with 'pear' reviews, they have a "  AUTHOR: Constomer Relations - Spokane (United States of America)"  department.  Give this person a job in the quality control department, where he/she should rise to the top quickly.

BrainResearch Labs, LLC Rebuttal 2

AUTHOR: Constomer Relations - (United States of America)

Please excuse the typo in the above response and see the corrected response below:

ProceraAVH, has withstood the scrutiny of local, state and other governing entities across the country.  All authorized claims about the product are supported by a University validated, randomized, double blind, placebo controlled trial with a significant number of participants at the prestigious Brain Sciences Institute in Australia.  The findings for significant improvement in a number of cognitive performance categories are well published including being featured in JANA, a peer reviewed journal for the nutraceutical industry. You can view the clinical study and articles about Procera AVH at the following website:

http://www.procerareviews.com/clinical-study-articles

Nutraceutical is defined as a portmanteau of the words nutrition and pharmaceutical, is a food or food product that reportedly provides health and medical benefits, including the prevention and treatment of disease. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutraceutical)

The Brain Sciences Institute is not our company name but where we conducted our clinical trials. Our company name is Brain Research Labs, LLC (BRL).

BRLs Customer Service department is now held in house to better serve our customers. If you have any questions regarding our product, its clinical trials or a previous or future order, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service department at 1-800-213-4101 Monday through Friday from 9AM 7PM EST or Saturday from 9AM 4PM EST.

Deception is easy to spot

AUTHOR: MrEd - (United States of America)

Such care and diligence "... a pear reviewed journal for the nutraceutical industry."  Really!  Do they sit around looking at pears? "Nutraceutical?"  Term sounds scientific and respectable, but look it up, if you can find it in any dictionary.  A peer review group from this "industry" is something for a John Stewart skit.

I notice that the company chose a name very closely related to the prestigious Johns Hopkins Brain Science Institute.  Is this deliberate deception?  IT IS NOT THE SAME INSTITUTE.    Instead, they actually use the Brains Sciences (notice the last "s" in Sciences) Institute from Australia.  How sneaky.  I would not touch their product if they paid me to take it.  Just another quack medicine purveyor

#4 Consumer Suggestion

Be wary of loaded search results

AUTHOR: IT-Doug - (United States of America)

In addition to proceraavh.com, and brainresearchlabs.com, the administrator of this website also runs
brlnews.com, buyprocera.com, getprocera.com, myfocuspill.com, pernaplex.com, procerasale.com, tryprocera.com and others for a total of about 272 domains at discount hosting services.

The number of domains can influence search results that might confuse those who use search engines for research.  The ad on the proceraahv.com website says: "There is absolutely no risk or obligation", I guess that means unless you open the product container?

Claims are also contradicted in small print presented during the purchase transaction.  It is also difficult to know how to attribute many claims.  Buying this product is sure to make you smarter... (the next time.)

Brain Research Labs, LLC Rebuttal

AUTHOR: Constomer Relations - (United States of America)

In order to set the record straight, first let me respond with a couple general comments to this derogatory report.

First, Brain Research Labs, LLC (BRL) holds every customer experience as our highest priority both in terms of safety and satisfaction.  Spending time and energy to address anonymous attacks is only one example of this philosophy. Our record for customer satisfaction is quite remarkable.  Please recognize that when a company serves the number of customers that BRL has, it is inevitable the there will be a handful of folks that, for whatever reason, are not, and never will be, satisfied with the product or experience.  Regardless, every single one is important.

Second, ProceraAVH, has withstood the scrutiny of local, state and other governing entities across the country.  All authorized claims about the product are supported by a University validated, randomized, double blind, placebo controlled trial with a significant number of participants at the prestigious Brain Sciences Institute in Australia.  The findings for significant improvement in a number of cognitive performance categories are well published including being featured in JANA, a pear reviewed journal for the nutraceutical industry.

Whats worth noting is that this substantial study was performed on the finished product itself.  BRL does not, like most other supplement companies, make product claims that simply rely on various studies performed by others on the individual ingredients contained in the product.

Finally, regardless of how well any product performs in a clinical setting, not every user will experience the same results.  Consequently, BRL stands behind every transaction with an industry leading 90-day, no hassle, satisfaction guarantee on unopened bottles.

Anyone is free to contact our Customer Support agents at 866-232-1847 Monday-Friday 7AM-7PM PST for questions or clarification.  Upon every purchase, this information is posted on the product packaging, a welcome letter, a thorough product users guide, the invoice and our website as well as being given out to the customer verbally if they process their order over the telephone.

Now, regarding the specifics of this report, BRL sales and customer support agents are NOT authorized to probe anyones medical history or dispense any medical advice whatsoever.  All appropriate health warnings are contained on the label.  When asked by a customer about various health conditions and prescription medications, they are trained to instruct the customer to consult the advice of their personal medical professional before using the product. This is strictly enforced as a safety measure for the benefit of the consumer.

If the customer who published this derogatory report would like to further pursue their refund request, they can simply call the Customer Support line, reference this website and ask for a return call from management.  I will gladly pull their record so that I am dealing with the facts and will contact them regarding their dissatisfaction.  We will have not only a record of the initial purchase by the father, but also any and all contacts with Customer Support including a word-for-word history of what has transpired on this experience.

Finally, assuming the person who published this report legitimately feels they have somehow been wronged, I will look forward to receiving their request for my follow up.
