I got married young, it didnt work and I havent been with the lady since 2001- 

I contacted this "attorney" that I found on Craigslist(BIG MISTAKE) brian watts of columbus ohio.

this guy tells me, its so simple, so easy, I can do it so many different ways, I'll have your documents in a couple of weeks.

I remitted payment on february 11 of 2016, filled out his questionaire and he calls me and says he didnt like the answers I gave, didnt believe there were no assets, didnt believe I didnt own property, cars, cash or businesses, so he had me fill it out again. I did, then he takes three more weeks to get back to me where he asserts his schedule is too busy to PRINT OUT MY DOCUMENTS FOR ME TO FILE MYSELF. He then says, for an extra $100 he could get it done, in the timeframe I originally paid for!

At this point, I ask for a refund, he then says, well- we've spoken on the phone so, that pretty much costs whatever you paid me. Typical, cheap suit wearing, attorney tactics. And luckily I didnt feel like traveling from cleveland to columbus for $450. He is a complete whimp.

I keep recordings of phone conversation for business transactions so, at this point I'll take them, the emails and my money order reciept to the bar associations- if for nothing else but for him to explain to them why he takes money. to proccess divorce documents and never delivers. I honestly think this guy is on some sort of narcotic, because he didnt seem to ever remember that he was asking me the same questions 3 and 4 times in a row, saying- I cant do the docs because you didnt answer this question, something I had dont weeks before. and the money order reminds me of another issue, I should've known he was a clown when he told me he couldnt accept credit card or debit payment(SCAMMER ALERT)

I know there are many guys seeking divorces, and in my opinion THIS is not the attorney to retain unless you want to throw your money away. I'm retaining other council now, and the crazy part is, the woman I married isnt intending in fighting it. A total waste of my time and pocket change. Thios guy is truly the personification of why the world hates lawyers!
