We recently had new kitchen countertops installed in our home. We have spoken with numerous proffessionals in the industry that estimated the costs of reconnecting the pluming for our new sink to be $300-$500 (not including the sink). The sink is an undermount sink and was installed by the countertop company...the facets were already purchased as well. Our home is less than 10 years old and the pblumbing is current.
We called Brothers Plumbing for an estimate. FIRST...They charge $45 just to visit your home...THEN...They try to sell you a new sink, facet and even a garbage compactor! (even though we had all of the above...all we wanted was to have then connect the new sink to the existing plumbing).
Their estimate was over $1200...OUTRAGEOUS! We used this company once before for an outdoor facet issue...the work was good, however they charged us the visit fee and a "difficult access" fee...it ended up costing us over $300 to replace this outdoor facet.
WE PAID $45 TODAY TO FIND OUT THAT THIS COMPANY IS OUT TO ROB HOMEOWNERS...SAVE YOUR $45 AND DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS SEVERELY OVERPRICED PLUMBING COMPANY!!
