Browns Performance Motor Cars Received a 1970 chevelle SS on arrival it had a cracked block and the tranny was said to be turbo 400 and it was a 350 with a cracked housing. Had to replace both items Glen Burnie Maryland

They put the engine into the acid bath to get it cleaned and the engine block has a crack from one end to the other. The engine block is no good , the cam shaft was really badly worn , really bad piston slap etc... My mechanic would love to have a conversation with Dennis as he is the Master Mechanic at BPM that signed off on the chevelle. The transmission had to be replaced as it had a cracked housing.I have not heard or received an email back from you Mike as you are the manager of BPM and I'm now looking for some type of cash back to replace the almost $6000 plus I will be paying the engine builder to replace the cracked block and replace it with a period correct block.Precise engine builders in Calgary and you are welcome to contact them to confirm all the issues , contact is Kris and he is the owner.My mechanic is Erol from Erol's automotive in Cochrane Alberta if you want to contact him and he can tell you all what is wrong with the chevelle.If I don't get some type of email or phone call to explain the issue we have with the chevelle we bought from BPMCARS.COM in November 2012 and what you are willing to do to make the chevelle a complete car again. I will be going to all the social media sights facebook,twitter,you tube,pinterest and whatever other sight is out there. I have copied your favorite links and will be contacting each one and will put out the good word. I will be considering calling the local newspaper and take out an ad in the paper and post a beautiful letter about how you guys sold the chevelle to us. I will be posting these two emails I have sent to you as well.I hope you don't leave me no choice and give so news on what you are willing to do.I look forward to hearing what you guys have to say about the issues we have. Once again I have given you names of the businesses have the chevelle at right now. Please feel free to call them and get there comments.Dave Lovell

Subject: Fwd: ChevelleHey MikeSince I purchased the chevelle in November 2012 from you and your shop I have be disappointed on the what you sold me. This is the first time I have been able to trailer it to my mechanics shop for them to look at it from top to bottom. Please read below. You said it was a turbo 400 transmission and it was only a 350, the transmission has a crack in the housing. I will need to replace that as well. The engine was not rebuilt or was not worked on by your mechanics. My mechanic has told me with a engine builder in Calgary that the cam has to be replaced ASAP and the engine needs to be worked on more then just spark plugs and a tune up. It needs to be striped down and taken to an engine builder to be bored and the heads to be looked at as well. If you would like to talk to my mechanic I'm willing to give you his name and number and he can verify you of all the issues the chevelle has. As of right now I have put over $9000.00 of parts and labour into the chevelle and that's not including the engine that will be taken out of the chevelle on Tuesday and dropped off at the engine builder in Calary as well as a rebuilt transmission.Please be more honest to your new clients and don't say it's better then it is when clients can't come to see the cars in person , maybe that should have been done instead of trusting a shop like yours.
If you ever want to talk about this let me know and I'm willing to talk about it. Funny thing is my wife has been asking too look at a couple of cars at your shop for her but since this problem has arose with my car I truly can't see that happening.
