When I agreed to sign a contract to paint my home for $8,000, it was supposed to include "everything" as per our agreement.  I later found out that BSC/Cynthia's definition of "everything" does not include, doors, baseboards, ceilings, priming, garage door, moulding, etc etc etc... The intentional model is to fool you into signing a contract, paying a non-refundable deposit and then gouging more money every time you sneeze for basic things that all painters are supposed to do without having to specify.  By the second "modification" of the contract they wanted 13,000$ instead of $8000. There were also a number of things they don't do that are basic for an adequate painting job, for example , putting putty over nailheads in the baseboards. 

Most importantly, as soon as the contract was signed, Cynthia became verbally abusive to me and my contractor, routinely insulting us and refusing to be reasonable. Her tone is belligerent, belittling and mean. She does not listen, interrupts constantly and then talks incessantly - never responding to any of the points made.  She would not work with other sub-contractors and demanded that my contractor run my remodel according to her. When he would not, she told me that 'he doesn't know what he is doing and it will cost extra.' (of course)  She is abusive and I simply can't work with her.  The original price ballooned so out of control that it had no resemblence to the original agreement.
