Hired this company for a whole house move. They were late on moving day without notifying us. Charged $250 over quoted price and asked me if I could fit any furniture in my vehicle before getting another moving truck. Disassembled furniture and items and did not reassmble all upon delivery.  Did not cover/protect furniture and most had scratches. Damaged the hardware floor and was a no show to fix the floor the next day.

Bed rail was damaged and was led on for five weeks to believe Thomas had ordered a replacement part.  I called the manufacturer and they stated this part was no longer made. Thomas admitted he lied about ordering it and stated he had our tv mount and bed hardware. Informed him there were more missing and broken items.

He refuses to use his insurance that he advertises and states he will take care of things himself. I have been waiting since October.  This is what he owes me:

1. Cooler (44.99)

2. Part for pitching machine (37.87)

3. Net (29.99)

4. Tv wall mount

5. Bed hardware

6. $100 towards the bed rail (mutually agreed upon)

Attempts to mend issues have been ignored. Report remains active.

Has you can see from past rebuttal, I have offered to mend issues. I get no response yet this report remains active. At this point it is obvious the customer is only interested in defaiming my name. Due to the damage done by this report and unwillingness to resolve, I no longer owe them. I have turned this over to my lawyers and will be pursuing defermation charges. NC statute says a consumer may not have active or continuing negative reports on a business if the company is attempting to resolve issues and the consumer fails to allow a resolution or mediation.

yes we were late and notified the customer. U-haul had a error that put us behind. Their was an agreed upon price before hand, as the day went on, the time it was taking to move everything including the fact it was an hour an a half drive put me in a bind for paying my guys. I nicely asked the husband if he's would consider paying an additional $250, his response was oh ya man, we were going to give you a $1000 anyways because of all the hard work. I made clear that he did not have to and I would honor original amount. As far as the damage goes, again, the husband and wife were not on the same page. On bed rail had cracked in transport, it was packed safely, but in the long drive it shifted.

I immediately brought it to the husband and showed him. I said I will pay for this, his response was oh nah man, s**t happens. Y'all have been good on everything else. He even said, you expect something or two to get broke in a big move. We finished the move, they paid us $1000 and made clear that were happy. 2 months later, the wife starts texting and calling harassing me about a bunch of broken items, missing parts, etc. She even said I have 90 days to file a complaint. This is classic customer says they are pleased then want money later. I have had well over 200 successful moves. Only a few bad ones. That puts me at a 97% satisfaction rate.
