Small businesses try to make their revenue go as far as possible. Our company has been in business for 43 years, we have never used the Yellow Pages, we build theme parks, water parks etc. and our clients don't look for our services in the yellow pages.
Most of us have been here some time and just hang up on the constant calls of telemarketers trying to scam you into a listing, typically saying they just need to verify your information. A new employee thought he was being helpful in verifing our phone number, address fax, etc. It was presented as a "verification of existing information" he assumed we used the service.
when I called to discuss the bill and explain the employee was not authorized to make a purchase I was threatenend and informed we would be turned over to a third party collector and it would effect our credit rating. I was then hung up on.
This company is truly a bottom feeded and if I can reach one company and say BEWARE it is worth my time to write this.
