buzzplay.net totally impossible to cancel membership Internet

 I was attempting to sign up for a site that has "free" ebooks.  Somehow, my registration was hi-jacked to buzzplay.net.  While thinking that I was signing up for the book site, I was asked to enter credit card info (I didn't have a problem with the e-book site having info, in case I wanted to purchase a book)    It turns out that buzzplay.net is an international gaming type website.  There was a $1.00 charge on my credit card (after the website assured that there would be NO Charge)  This $1.00 is currently pending, but they were testing my credit card.   The company has a page to "cancel membership".  If you click on the link for cancel, it takes you to a page that charges you $1.00 to cancel membership.  I did not want to spend a penny to cancel a membership that I didn't want to begin with.  When you click "cancel membership for free", it takes you right back to the page to pay.  If you click on the attempt to send an email to cancel, it takes you right back to the page to pay.  If you attempt to call the "24/7 customer service" phone number, you get a recorded message advising of "technical difficulties" and advice to go back to the website.    All attempts to cancel my membership have been a impossible loop to get out of.  I would not even attempt to pay the $1.00 to cancel my membership, I'm sure this would get deeper into the loop.
