California Labor Compliance Business Compliance Department Scam company attempts to portray itself as a Government department. Los Angeles, California

I received a written notification stating at the top right of this official looking document:

FINAL NOTICE
Failure to comply with 2011/2012
Compliance requirements may lead
to government fines and/or audits

Yet, near the bottom of the same notice, it states:

"THIS IS NOT A BILL.  THIS IS A SOLICITATION.  YOU ARE UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO PAY THE AMOUNT STATE ABOVE UNLESS YOU ACCEPT THIS OFFER."

Well, that's funny, although it is optional to pay this fee, this company misleadingly presented it as a government issued notification.  So folks, if you get one of these notices just file it in your circular bin.
