California Teacup pigs / Anita Thornhill Jacobson Scheming Conniving Lying mini Pig Wholesaler not even breeder Durham California

Well reading these reports I can only assume these are vindictive posts made by someone in the industry. Anita Jacobson is a great woman and animal lover. She has a lovely little farm in Durham Ca, I've been there myself. Very tidy barn with cozy birthing boxes and pig runs on either side all on five acres with an aesthetically pleasing white fence.  A little weeds patch outfront that stays green all year round for grazing. None of the things these reports say are true at all. Written I'm sure by someone who is speculating from afar and was probably threatend by Anita because she will tell you like it is and yes she is at the top of her game. Anita knows what shes talking about and will call out people who exaggerating the adult size of their pigs, sell newborn pigs as bottle babies, lie about age, send piglets across state lines without USDA paperwork, advise improper feeding, ect.  She is a good person and dosn't smear people or wrongfully accuse them to make her self look good. Shes no hater. Its a freakin' epidemic out here in the mini pig world. There are many-a-hillbillies rasing poorly bred unhealthy mini pigs in deplorible conditions claiming they will be 35lbs and love living in closets, Anita is not one of them. No, she does not buy litters of piglets and sell them as her own. No she does not sell off mother pigs once they retire from breeding. All her pigs are at her farm and in happy healthy condition. She gives life long support to all her customers, and will take back any pig that cant be kept by the new owner. She will not lie to you, she will not sugar coat. She welcomes farm visits by appointment, piglets cannot leave her farm until a minimum of 6 weeks. All male pigs are neutered before they leave. These are quality mini pigs and Anita is a quailty breeder who anyone should be comfortable working with. I did a year and a halfs worth of research on many mini pig breeders throughout the United States and Anita certainly raises the bar which naturally ruffle some feathers. I am 100% satisfied with Anita and will be a returning customer. 

I am sure miss jacobsons has her own pigs, and breeds them. Her business looks legit to me.

I do know for a fact she is a very sneaky, mean person on face book, and anywhere she can start drama and confusion. I have seen her manipulate people, use them, and go behind backs of other wise nice people just to make them hate each other. 

she in NO LONGER  California Tea cups, but California Mini Pigs. She changed her name to avoid it being seen on rip off reports when people were catching up to her lies and hate. She likes being number 1 and has no trouble stomping out any and all competition, big and small. she acts like she is your friend, but behind your back she is slashing your throat, and getting new friends who she can pretend that she is top notch and an ally.

Her pigs I have seen are adorable, and she seems to breed non stop all summer. She has employees do all the pig farm dirt work, and rarely even sees the piglets until they are photographed for sales. She is NOT the socializer, her employess of 4 are. Kudos to them.

She is very shady, and did send a year ago a pig to LA with NO micro chip or paper work. On that note she would hang out to dry ANYONE who made that mistake honestly. She Knew what she was doing. and then refused to give the info to the owner who desperately needed it. She could not produce it since it did not exist. Bad Breeder Practices, and not a Good Person in the pig world to any breeder, Big or Small.

All I can say is I work for a vet in San Pablo and now have bought 3 piglets from her and this person obviously has not been to her farm. Or talked to her vet for that matter! I have and the vet I work under has talked to Dr. Darling in Chico to get advise and he had nothing but great things to say about her and her place.

All the animals are healthy and friendly, she has about 20 full sized breeders at her farm,  from what I could see, including inside stalls with birthing boxes for the moms, when I was there I saw one box with a very pregnant  sow, one box for a newly delivered litter ( I picked my most recent baby from this litter) and in her sow pen she showed me 2 more sows with milk ready to deliver, so whoever wrote this has no idea of her set up or even been to her house. She raises them there. I asked if she had a partner Erin, she told me Erin was not a partner but a friend and a breeder in Dixon, which is near UC Davis and someone started this rumour a few years ago, said it doesn't bug her because she knows the truth and so do her clients.

I am going to be a breeder in the future when my pigs mature and I have offered to buy her pigs that she is not using for breeding anymore and she won't, they are her pets, she calls them her "kids" and will not part with them, she told me they will live out their lives their as pets, the pets have full run of her 5 acres, which is gorgeous, clean with awesome fencing, all animals have housing and the pigs have heat lamps, she explained that they are exotic, have higher body temperatures than most mammals and get colder faster than us. I looked that up and it's true.

To me this sounds like a vindicitive person, maybe their pigs are big. This site looks like just one big witch hunt, I typed in mini pigs and Posh comes up and Petite Porkers comes up, some breeder in Texas comes up, I think people need to grow up, everyone is just bashing everyone on here! So stupid that society has come to evolve around online reviews rather than meeting someone face to face, see for yourself and a good old fashioned handshake

I have to make a comment though, she did have a sick pick and he got vet care and is over  his pnuemonia, if your husband had pneumonia  would you then say, he shouldn't be a breeder? Working in a vet office we see alot of pneumonia, it doesn't mean you stop breeding an animal, it means you heal it and if they are capable of breeding later on then you do it. Only time will tell if a pig is genetically small, not some illness, good God.

I am commenting on posts about this lady because she is quality, you can go to her house and see all the pigs here, she is not a scam, she is honest about their sizes. She lets you visit as many times as you wish, it's by appointment because she works and has children too, but she will accomodate your schedule as much as you see fit.  So in my opinion I will not buy from someone else unless it's to get some different genetics, but I plan on buying at least 2 more from her litters in the spring, she has referred me to someone in Redding, Florida and Ohio as well to get the diversity I want.  I have referrred at least 5 of my friends and family members to her.
