I started college at Cameron in 2007. I was able to get financial aid and attend classes when I first began the courses. Since then I have changed my major twice due to uncertainty in the job market for my degree. I have aquired 123 hours so far and my degree plan calls for 5 more courses and I'm done. But now I have a red flag on my account and I''m apparnetly blocked from enrolling because of some girl who claims I sexually harrassed her. I simply asked her out to a movie and after class. She claims I stalked her to do it! I never stalked anybody! I was sent a letter by the Dean or assistant Dean Jennifer Prunicki and ordered to meet with her concerning the issue. I told her what happened and and that I never stalked anyone. I simply walked up to her after class and asked her out. THAT'S IT! She asked me if I had a mental illness, and I told her that I didn't. She then asked me if I would consider talking to a psychiatrist regarding my mental illness, I told her that I don't have a mental illness and that she's assuming this based on my attitude towards the system. I told her that I am followed everywhere I go by campus police and that I can't have a normal life now all because some fine girl thought it would be fun to grab me by the balls and watch me squeal!! Once again I explained to her that I don't have a mental illness. She asked me if I owned a gun. I told her that's really none of her business. She then said, well I'm concerned for the students on my campus and that would be my business. I told her that I have a right to own a gun if I want to and whether or not I own a gun has nothing to do with this case! She then said safety is her main concern and she said that she felt she had a right to know whether or not I own a gun. At this point I didn't say anything and remained silent. She asked again. I told her no so she would stop asking me. Finally she let me go, but there's still a red flag on my student I.D. and I can't enroll. Plus financial aid told me that I would need to pay out of pocket once the account was unblocked. I only have five classes left and I can't get financial aid to finish! I think it's a conspiracy against me and the faculty seems to be in on it!! College seems to be a rip off anyway. The cost of textbooks is ridiculous!! Tuition and fees has doubled since I started! Maybe it's for the best, but I felt I had to say something about this so people who might be planning on attending Cameron University would know what it's really like. If you're a guy watch out! The girls there are just waiting to get a case going against you so you will be kicked off campus and discouraged from finishing your degree!!
