cams.com promises that you can e-mail any model you see on their website, but this is far from the truth.
After you sign up and pay them, the misery starts.
They censor all mail and will not forward mail that contains ANY true personal information about you or real contact information. In other words, it is impossible to form any kind of REAL association with anyone through this website.
They give you idiotic excuses and point out that it's not allowed in their Terms and Conditions. Or course, no warning of this is given to you before you sign up.
It's ultimately a vacuous experience.

My girlfriend is a cam model so I understand how this works. They do promise you that you can email any girl when you pay to join her fan club. Cams blocks personal information for protection of everyone.
No girl on the site wants to meet anyone. They get paid to model on cam for you. Starting around 4 bucks a minute. Why would they have any desire to meet you? Do you think you are different then any of the other 400 guys a day that offer to meet every other model? They are at work. It is there job to get you to spend money. Why is that so wrong? Why would you think that a girl you are paying by the minute to talk to you would want to come meet you? They want money like everyone else who is at work. I dont come to your work and ask to take you home.
Nuts, some people are not on a little place I like to call Earth. Bonkers.

Even if I didnt work with them, (I am only a contract worker -studio manager- for them and a couple other adult web cam sites) I still think your unrealistic and not using your common sense.
If your sister or mother worked at a place like that, would you let them give their personal info to everyone that saw them in their panties or naked?
Didnt think so. ITs entertainment better than just phone sex. The girls are live and talk to you-and are not recordings. Safety is something we have to watch for the people who work their. Thats common sense, you shouldnt have to post a warning or sign that says USE YOUR COMMON SENSE. jUST enjoy it and if you cant, go get a girlfriend-she'll ask you to spend money too, and take up your time... Any difference? Actually these girls-dont nag you like your wife or g-friend and are there when you need them.
Common sense is not common apparently.
If you'd like to stay tune to my own web cam company www.24hrcabaret.com or www.blinddate.com you can talk to girls and have fun-but come on, dont expect them to come over your apartment or coming over hers...

It is very obvious that you can chat with these ladies using the chat box feature, but you cannot exchange email addys or home addresses. The company or the workers dont get paid when workers/customers exchange emails.But you can chat whn youre on their site, so they have fullfilled their end of the bargain.
This isnt a dating service, they have a job to do here,and you are a customer. After work, they want no contact with you on the telephone,because they wouldnt be getting paid,and they have to talk sexy at work,they dont want to have to do it at home.It may be fun for you, but its work for them.
Example:
I am a hairstylist. When I get off work, I dont want to do hair when I get home, must less "free hair". Wanting to contact a lady with a free call or email is wanting chat for free when she gets paid for it at work. There is probebly a good many of them are married and/or have kids(sorry to screw up the fantasy)and when they get off work, they dont want to chat with anyone or have whoopee with anyone and definitely no freebee love.
Sorry it wasnt what you expected, but this isnt a dating service,you type stuff in the chat box,sexual stuff, they do it.
There is no socializing outside the site.

"Models" are not on there to meet people. Do you really think hot models have to sit at home and meet someone on the internet? Honestly?
Have you thought that maybe these "models" are getting your exact emails and just choose not to respond to them? Models can go out to a bar and find someone, I suggest you do the same.
