Steve Brown known currently as Canada's Best Flooring resides in Niagara on the Lake and his storefront is in Niagara Falls. His store has only been open for a year as he moves around once he has scammed a lot of people and bankrupts his company so he is not liable for anything. His previous company name is SB Flooring in Trenton. Like previous victims, he gave us a really good price on laminate flooring which was to be installed upstairs in my new home. He wanted a big deposit and after he rips out the carpet and starts laying down a little bit of laminate 1/4 rooms, he asks for more money. I refused to give it to him as it sounded fishy. He never returned to finish the job. There are countless other victims, please contact your local police as he is a scam artist and he will keep doing this again and again. He will be charged with fraud. I also find this man to be mentally disturbed and will come back to harrass you so be careful. According to a 2008 report he has been in jail for this as well. Please post on Google reviews as well so other people will not be victims

Steve Brown has closed his Niagara store and opened again in Lakefield Ontaio. His new business is called Kawartha Flooring Liquidators (You can Google this for all his info) and his phone number is 705-652-6222. He took me for 650.00 a number of years ago, I just want everyone to know he is still operating, although once again under a new business name.

If you have not yet done so, please contact the Central Fraud Unit in St Catharines and file a complaint with them. They have already taken reports with respect to Mr Brown. The contact number is 905-688-4111.
I recommend strongly to anyone who feels they have been defrauded by Mr Brown to call that number and file a complaint.
The best way to nail this guy is for the Fraud Unit to receive real, valid complaints indicating actual fraud, and the more the better.
You are not alone. You have support in Niagara!
