The companies they run provide credit card and check processing for businesses.

Best Choice Technologies was started out of the Felix household located at 7502 214th Avenue, Maquoketa, IA 52060 in approximately May 2007. This is the Best Choice Technologies website: http://www.bestchoicetechnologies.com. In April 2008, they moved their office to 714 West Platt Street, Maquoketa, IA 52060 and changed the name, but were the same company. Here is that website: http://www.ileopardtech.com They started another dummy corporation in California around the same time: http://premiercapitaltechnologies.com/carees.html (you will notice the first line of the website page text reads "An exciting lucrative career awaits you at Best Choice Technologies!") They forgot to change that line.

The next move was to Smithville, Tennessee. The new business is http://capitalfundstech.com. The LLC filing was actually done in Florida, but they are located at 212 Jennings Lane, Smithville, Tennessee. Here is a copy of the LLC filing: http://www.sunbiz.org/pdf/50363875.pdf. The email on the website is non-working, but this appears to be a valid address: capitalfundstech@gmail.com

Here is how you can tell all the business' are linked. Best Choice Technologies is registered through the Secretary of State under Maria Felix. Carlos Felix was an Officer at one time, but he was removed by his wife, although the trail is still able to viewed on the Iowa Secretary of State website. The Whois filing for the Best Choice Technologies website shows it is registered to Carlos Felix. The phone number and fax number are the same as the new Tennessee business, Capital Funds Technologies. Ileopard Tech is dummy registered through the State, so you wouldn't know Maria and Carlos owned it unless you lived in Maquoketa. However, the Whois listing on Ileopard lists Maria Diaz as the owner and that is one of Maria Felix' aliases. Carlos Felix is listed as Rep Support on the ILeopard website.

The house they are living in was purchased in July 2008: http://www.trulia.com/homes/Tennessee/Smithville/sold/939979-212-Jennings-Ln-Smithville-TN-37166. However, I don't know if they bought the house, or are renting it. The house they lived in while in Maquoketa, IA was bought by them on contract, but they failed to make timely payments and were evicted. They completely destroyed the house before leaving town (broke all the windows, tore drywall off, ripped out the furnace, cabinets, etc). There is an ongoing investigation by the IRS right now and both Maria and Carlos Felix will be in jail by the end of the year.

Carlos Felix and Maria Felix owe First Data in excess of $80,000 right now. They also owe Bank of America in excess of $40,000. They fled Maquoketa because all the bill collectors were catching up to them. They cannot hide though. People they have wronged keep the bill collectors informed of their new addresses. Carlos and Maria both have extensive criminal records including outstanding warrants. This can be verified through "Iowa Courts Online" (under Maria Felix, Carlos Felix and Best Choice Technologies). Their daughter, Jackelyn Martinez, was recently arrested in Mexico City, Florida for credit card fraud. Do not do business with this company! They prey on hispanic small business owners. You will pay higher fees than you are promised, you will not be able to cancel without ruining your credit or paying thousands of dollars and you will be giving very sensitive financial information to convicted felons! They will promise you the world, but ruin you instead!

Do not work for this company. THE IRS IS INVESTIGATING THEM!! Realize this before you agree to be "paid under the table". There is a reason they don't want to withhold wage taxes and its not because they just "want to help you out".

Carlos Felix may respond to this report and he will claim that the person who wrote it stole from him, or some other lie. Don't believe it. Carlos Felix and Maria Felix are compulsive liars and have absolutely no shame.
