Date Created 8/12/02
I was first contacted by CapitalFirst at my home residence in May 2002. I was promised a wonderful membershiip package including a Mastercard with $2500 credit limit. I approved the company to withdraw only the $19.95 for processing feews. It was a month later I recieved my membership package and my 7 day free trial had already expired. Therefore, a "non-refundable" one time processing fee of $59.99 and annual membership fee of $99.95 was withdrawn from my account without my consent.

I contacted CapitalFirst on June 24th, 1pm PST to cancel my account/membership. I was promised 7 days to process and have monies refunded to my bank account. I was assigned a Return Authorization Code: R01062402 and CapitalFirst requested I return my membership package. I mailed on June 24th in via FEDEX#829386879515, signed for on June 25th by V. Achenbach, at 18495 S Dixie Hwy, Miami FL 33157. l

I contacted CapitalFirst customer service on July 5, 2002 asking when I should be expecting my refund check? Their reply was, "they haven't recieved my membership packet and won't be refunding my monies." I was furious and felt very violated at this time and said your company is not very trustworthy, customer representative hung up on me.

I contacted CapitalFirst customer service again on July 12,2002 and they said they had my membership package and it takes ten business days to appear in my banking account. I was relieved to have heard the great news. I did mention the fact the letter was recieved and signed for on June 25 and would only take 7 days to refund monies. I called back a third time on August 5, the customer service representative answered my call and said, "We are experiencing a high volume of calls, can you leave your name and number we will get back with you. I did and as of August 12, I haven't received any communication via call or mail.
