I invested a substantial amount of money through Rose at Capitalise Invest back in 2014. She had promised it would be a short term investment with maturity of less than 6 months. She also personally guaranteed if the investment went sour (they are a marketing company who just introduce you to the investment) her company would personally repay me my investment so I was not at a loss.

On this basis, I agreed to sign up to the investment. However the investment turned sour and all money seemed to be lost so I went back to Rose to ask what they would do to help recoup my funds now the investment had fallen through and I reminded her of her promise and guarantee when signing up. She and her company have retracted and refused to pay back anything as prior agreed.

I feel completely lied to from the Company and it has cost me everything. A company is only as good as their word and in this case it means nothing .

I am very saddened and disappointed with their actions. I do not find this company ethical in their dealings.

UPDATE ORIGINAL POST TO BE DISREGARDED AS UPDATED EVENTS AND TIMELINE

I invested a substantial amount of money at Capitalise Invest (being the marketing company) back in 2014 for a project call Norway Convent in the Hills. I was under the impression from communication with the marketing company that the investment was short term, with maturity of less than 6 months.
With statements from the marketing company of the following made I thought how could it go wrong.
"The developer can’t even touch the money for development until investors own the assets, and can only buy the asset in the first place in the name of the investors, which is always worth more than the sum raised"

"
The ONLY way for him to get those assets back is by doing so as set out in the legal docs, i.e. by paying the investors 120% of the share value in order to buy them out of the company which owns the assets. "

"
This investment model has done just that, leaving the worst case scenario as exiting with what you put in being given back to you plus interest."

"
As far as investments go, this one is a little gem - to have such high level of security coupled with such high returns over such a short term is a rarity"

I agreed to sign up to the investment. When things looked a bit bumpy later on the marketing company indicated  if things went bad that they would repay my investment.

Unfortunately things did go sour and it looks like all is lost. Presently there are efforts being made to see if there is any possibility of recouping funds however nothing fills me with hope at this stage. I have been told the owners of the Norway Convent in the Hills did not adhere to their promises hence why everything has fallen over.
