Carmart is an awful company. They are liars, thieves, cheats, and are not customer oriented. I have a lean through them and I have never in my life felt as disrespected with a company as I feel every week when I walk into their doors. I have been late on my payments before but I always paid when I said i would pay and I have never been late enough for a repossession to happen. So imagine my shock when i am two weeks late and they repo my car. Ofcourse I went up to Carmart and asked why and where my car was taken and I was told that they were trying to get 'lines of communication' open and had to repo my car to do it. I was furious. I have given my number to their customer service rep 2 or 3 times and she conveniently keeps losing it. So that she can call my references and tell them that I am late. She told my sister in law that she couldn't and quote 'directly tell her how much i was behind but that she (my sister in law) could guess.' As far as i am concerned that is just as bad as her telling her exactly how much. Isn't that breeching the privacy contract? When I went to get my car back she told me I had to pay the two weeks i owed (200), the next payment (95), the repo fee (350), and a month in advance (400). I went ballistic. I told her I was not paying the repo fee on something that shouldnt have been repo'd in the first place. This was not my first encounter with this so called 'customer service rep.' There was a time when she showed up at my work and demanded in front of my boss customers and co workers that I pay what I owed (2 payments) or I give her my keys. I felt that it was unnecessary to come into my work when she couldve waited one more hour and I wouldve been off work. Instead she felt it necessary to embarass me and potentially get me fired because she wanted to make an example of me. I am not a fan of this woman. She is snotty rude disrespectful catty and ill-mannered. I asked for a complaint number to call and report her but their 'customer complaint line' just brings you back to the office with which you are complaining about. i was told that they can not an will not do anything about her because they encourage and LIKE her attitude according to the District Manager. I know something can and WILL be done about it because I will not stop until Karen and Carmart is taken down, especially the one in PRATTVILLE, AL.
