I got a loan from CNAC on a 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass that I got off of the car lot of JD Byrider and I had motor problems. I took my car back to JD Byriders where they informed me that I will be getting another new engine. they had to keep me car for a few days until they order me a new engine.

Instead of ordering me a new engine they transported my cay to a junk car yard where they told the yard to put a used engine out of another car into my car. after about a week of riding the bus I was called to pick up my car at the car lot and when I fot there I was told that I got a new engine and I would not be having anymore problems but I do. The service engine light pops on and the cold/hot meter keeps rising high.

I had to take my car back to JD Byrider 2 times and the problem isn't or hasn't been solved yet and I do not feel safe with this car and I was told that in order for me to get another car I had to pay the loan off upto $2000.00 and the loan is for $9465.00 pay off. I feel that I was suckered into this loan by not only JD Byrider but as well as the fast talking CNAC reps.

JD Byrider and All other buy here pay here lots are complete rip offs.  The cars are usually ones from auction.  Most of them are junk cars and trucks.  If you are one of them that gets a decent car or truck the interest rates are automatically 21% which is the most they can charge by law.  Also They mark up the cars and trucks more then 2 times the kelly blue book value.  The warranty is a joke cause they don't cover your rental car while you are having your car fixed.  Another note.  When they say a new engine they mean another used one.  No warranty like that will cover a new engine unless its a new car or truck purchased.  JD byrider sales junk cars and puts junk parts in them.  However if you have no credit or bad credit then its the price you have to pay.  Pay all your payments on time and any extra money you  have put towards your car. Get it paid off as quickly as you can and the next car purchase make sure to go to a reputable lot and either pay cash or read the contract before signing.
