I recieved a phone call today from an alleged attorneys office. It was hard to understand because the man had a very thick indian accent. They stated that a lawsuit was filed against my name and social security number. They claimed i took out a payday loan 18 months ago and never repaid it. When i asked questions about the creditor, amount and specific date this was done, the man became very belligerent and told me that he would just take legal action against me and hung up the phone.

I attempted to call them back during the next 4 hours. The phone rings 4 times, then beeps like with an answering machine but with no message. This has to be a scam because no lawyers office that i know of operates that way. On top of that this is the first communication ive recieved about this and my bank account has only been opened for a year and not 18 months.
