We cancelled our Verizon account and have been asking for nearly a year for a final bill from them.  We never got one but then find out we were turned into CBE Collections.  SO long story short, we received an offer in the mail that they will settle for 25% off which would be $1260.23 which we thought was fair (we had leased phones which was turned into another provider).  BUT when we go online to pay it, the only option is the full amount of $1680.30.  There is a link to click to make an offer so I put the $1260.23 and they come back no they want $1500.00.  Well guess what?  Now you are getting nothing because after reading this stuff it sounds like they screw you anyhow.
