This is what you will get from these people...
Account Set-Up Fee: $29.00 (one-time fee)
Program Fee: $95.00 (one-time fee)
Annual Fee: $48.00
Participation Fee: $72.00 Annually*
Additional Card Fee: $20.00 Annually

The Participation Fee of $72.00 will be billed at $6.00 per month. This will eat all of the so call credit limit and they will let you make payments of the fee and not activate the card untill all fees are met also so you are not getting billed month for the participation fees so you can have the card free and clear before you make the first charge.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO they dont. and you will never speak to the person that said you could do this again.

I have a collections on my credit report for 497.00 and wanted 25.00 monthly and not counting the 150. I already gave them and never used the card Yet.and I show 120 day late with out using the card and never getting my money back and the credit limit was 250. Hmmm go figure..

Hate to burst your bubble, but the Premier Credit Card/Centennial, is actually a great credit card company for people who need to establish/re-establish their credit.

Yes, they do charge a lot for their services but they run a high risk operation. I recently applied for and received a Centennial Gold MasterCard with a 250 dollar credit limit.

They did charge some hefty fees but I was able to use my card immediately.

Actually the only complaint I have is their over enthusiastic security. I read my balance wrong and tried to over pay and they froze my account haha!

The Customer Service representative, Christine, was very helpful and cleared it up right away.

All in all I am actually very happy with this company and glad for the opportunity to start my credit.

I have 2 credit cards issued by First Premier Bank and I like them both. While the fees you mentioned are accurate, I have always been able to put charges on my card LONG before all fees and dues are paid off. The fees don't eat all the credit at all. I'm not sure what credit line you were given, but if it's at least the "normal" limit, then again... it does not "eat" as you put it, all the credit.

If you're get their regular card, and your limit is $250.00 to start with, after the fees, you have $78.00 left. If you get their Platinum card, and your limit is $300.00 to start with, you have $128.00 left. So, while those amounts are lower than what most of us would like to start with, it's better than nothing, and helps build your credit!
