Another classic Audiofile scam (in Australia) as reported on this website - ie. guys in van, story of oversupply, showed glossy American magazine depicting speakers being worth a great deal, bought speakers at reduced price and they end up being extremely poor quality.

Van rego traced to a company known as Century Distributors Pty Ltd whose directors are based both in the USA and Australia.

The American Directors are listed as follows: 1) Dean Srdich, 1355 S 27th Street Lacrosse Wisconsin, DOB:

The Australian Director is named Eugene Molnar, 13 Smith Street Manly, New South Wales,

Since the Numerous attmpts to negotiate a refund with an employee known as 'Shandor' who operates the Melbourne office and also the above Australian Director 'Eugene' lead to delay tactics and excuses.

Despite the van being registered to the company and 'Shandor' acting as salesman (as detailed in other RipOff reports on your site) Eugene and Century Distributors are trying to distance themselves from the transaction by claiming that the salesman were subcontractors and if anyone was misleading or acted fraudulently it was them. Further, the money can't be refunded as it is in the hands of the subcontractors who, funnily enough, are no longer contactable.

PLEASE HELP!
I am in the processes of issuing legal action against Century Distributors for selling goods not of merchantable quality in a misleading and deceptive manner.

In order to evidence misleading and deceptive conduct/fraud, I would really benefit from having a copy of the magazine they showed me and many others on this site.

I would also like to be able to hold discussions with those Australians with similar experiences who appear on this web site (Morgan in Melbourne, Dougie in Melbourne, Tony in Sydney, Rob in Gold Coast etc) If they or others are willing I would like to obtain witness statements from them to evidence similar dealings connected with Century Distributors.

Please help by contacting me through this web site.

If I can get enough evidence together in the one place then it may attract media attention and hopefully lead to the company being closed down for good.
