Welcome to life with Qwest/Centurylink.  My problems with these companies all began after my late wife passed away in April 2011.  I decided to keep our account open which included Directv bundled with our unlimited long distance landline.  Centurylink agreed for me to keep our grandfathered account which began on August 4, 1992 open in my name.

My first problems started on or about july 13, 2011 after I bought an RV and moved some 45 miles south.  I called customer service and asked them to suspend my services for a week or so until I got moved and I will call to resume services except Directv.  I asked them to cancel it all together.  Centurylinks representative that took my call decided to not suspend my services and cancel Directtv, but closes my account and they could not reopen it.  There goes the Grandfather plan we worked all those years to create.  When I learned of this I was not happy at all.  

I am a fulltime camper now I thought.  Maybe they are just having to deal with new circumstances.   They offered and I reluctantly accepted a plan that didn't remotely resemble my original plan and was only for 5 years.  Now really!  Thank you Centurylink.  This is where it gets weird.  The Directv which I cancled effective July 13th.  Remains for the next 4 months and yes they continued to bill me in order to remain current with my bill.  To this date Directv still owes me better than $100 which I overpaid them through my Centurulink overbilling me.

Now I come to I hope to be my final chapter in this relationship with the den of theives.  We move forward to June 24, 2013.  I plan to move my RV another 10 miles. As usual, I call to suspend my services and what happens, their representative was not listening.  Closed my account.  This inturn throws me under the bus since a year or so earlier when I bundled verizon in order to save money.   

I retired after my wife passed and the past 5 or 6 months I have made payments to Verizon trying to get cauggt up.  My Social Security benefits are $760 a month

 I have had to make payments of up to $400 in a month to keep my account wirh them all because of Centurylink or tjeir authorized representatives.  I want Centurylink to man up and correct what they did to me and so many theres.  I like to eat every month too.  I am ready to be a Happy Camper.
