Certified IRS Solutions Took my money then shut their business without notice and disconnected phones The Woodlands Texas

I hired Certified IRS Solutions (CIS) to handle my case and when I called one day to check on my case status I could not get through. The Attorney-in Fact assigned to my case was Kristin Westerfield. I have read the other complaints regarding "CIS" and need to provide some insight at this time. Kristin Westerfield did a GREAT job on my case while the company was functional. She quelled two Summons to Appear before the IRS that were sent to me (and scared the hell out of me) by the IRS which lifted a huge weight off of me. She was in constant touch with me about necessary paperwork and kept the IRS agent assigned to my case very happy and off of my back. All parties writing these negative reviews need to realize that these attorneys that were assigned to our cases were "employees" of Spence Carlson who told me HE was the OWNER of "CIS." I talked with Kristin after the fall of the company and found out that Mr. Carlson had just walked into the office one day and told everybody they were fired and closed the office. He left all of his staff unemployed without notice. These attorneys (at least mine) was doing an excellent job on my case and the next day was having to worry about finding another job. I know we are all furious at being left hung out to dry, but we need to go after the person responsible: Spence Carlson. These attorneys should not have to suffer for the lack of ethics displayed by their employer. Most of them didn't really even know Spence...they just had a job and knew he was the owner of the company. They were innocents who got taken just like us. They took a shot just like the rest of us. Kristin did such a wonderful job for me that we became friends and I assure everyone out their that she, as well as all of the friends she worked with at "CIS" are furious, not only with the way Spence Carlson left them personally hanging, but with the way he left their clients hanging. Kristin felt so bad about the situation that she has stayed in touch to answer any tax questions and help me handle the mess that Spence left us all with.
I lost over $4000 and a friend of mine prepaid about $10,000 and lost all of it. So I'm mad as hell too. Just don't make the mistake of misplacing the blame on those attorneys who were just trying to help us and do their job. They got hosed, too. These blogs are causing them further, undeserved, distress. Kristin is a wonderful caring person and she thought highly of Maria Abercrombie, as well as her other work associates, and I am personally thinking of hiring her because I need good ethical people in my business. Let's find Spence and make him accountable. If anyone can help me locate him, please let me know. I'd like to file suit, as well would my friend. I had his personal cell phone number and he, apparently, has even had it changed. From talking with him, I was under the impression he lived somewhere outside of the Woodlands. We need to hold him accountable for what he's done to all of us, as well as the employees he left high and dry.
