This has to do with CFNA "customer service" for bill pay. On 9/22, my bill was due. I went online to pay my bill in the afternoon and the website didn't work. I tried several times thinking it was just my computer, but their website continued to say it was experiencing "technical difficulties" and suggested I call customer service. I finally did as I had already spent over an hour trying to access. I called "customer service" and an automated answered the call stating reps were busy but my call would be answered in sequence, so not to hang up. I waited. I waited more. I waited nearly ONE HOUR and NOBODY came to the phone. Only their awful muzac kept playing. Finally, I got in and hung up (no one ever answered) and I was able to pay my bill. I also, tho, wrote "customer service" explaining that my payment was posting the next day due to being unable to log on.  I got a reply today from "Angel".

"Angela" is one of the WORST "customer service specialists" I've ever encountered. She told me there was NOTHING wrong with their website and they would NOT remove the late charge (which, by the way, is the same amount of money I paid on my bill!).\90z0T

I'm contacting corporate on Monday; however, I am going to be so glad when my bill is completely paid and I vow to NEVER go to Firestone again. I've already discarded their card. I have spent on my older car over $6000 with Firestone the past 6 years. That's quite a bill and quite a customer to lose. I hope they collapse because their "customer service" is horrible and from what I read on RIp-Off and other sites, their company is just going down with service quality.

You're not too big to fall, Firestone and treating your customers like garbage will make you fall faster. There are far better companies to use out there than you. I will NEVER EVER EVER use you again. Also, I will be writing my state government because of your FRAUDULENT late charges and my NBC Responds people.

Hey! Don't know what's wrong with the creep who wrote trying to tear you down, but I agree. CFNA/Firestone is a rotten company, with ROTTEN people in their fabricated CUSTOMER SERVICE (yes TYG: they S-U-C-K big time). There are hundreds of complaints with customer service. I use to work for them and they suck. THey are ignorant and believe me, no one was there if you had to wait a frickkin hour and no one answered. I'm sure "TYG" wouldn've never waited an hour to get an answer. Go to MIDAS. They're better and their customer service doesn't suck like CFNA. I think they are going down. When I left, there wasn't the number of people coming to the shop anymore and many were going to places like Midas and Merlin or others, who give better and cheaper service. TYG needs to be careful with threats. What goes around comes around and you TYG shouldn't attack people for voicing their opinion. This is a better site (and country) than that a**hole.

TYG. I don't know why you have an issue with my report. To refresh everyone's memory on what you answered me (are you Firestone??? Who else would care!) follows:

 

YOU didn't pay your bill on time, so YOU have to pay the late fees. HOW is it fraudulent? Did you ewver stop and think that its (sic) YOUR computer that caused this? Or that YOUR internet provider was having issues?? No. WHY would YOU ever think of anything BUT YOURSELF!!!! Firstly, it is NOT fraud to have to pay a late fee. Secondly, just because YOU couldn't(sic) access the website for whatever reason does NOT make it THIER (sic) fault!!!! WHY did YOU wait until the late  moment to pay your bill?? It sounds like YOU have an issue paying on time, that is NOT thier (sic) fault. Third, YOU are the issue and NOT THEM!!!! Ok so YOU waited an hour on hold, that means that people whoi were answering the phones were dealing with OTHER CUSTOMERS!!!! I hope YOU fall.

 

TYG:  (actually, a CFNA employee), you make a lot of assumptions in your rebuttal to my post to CFNA which are not yours to make (and a plethora of typographical errors as well). I'm amazed you are on Firestone's side but you yourself will experience issues. You, too, are on the Ripoff Report sight, so obviously, you have filed reports yourself. Are you "Angela"? I certainly did pay my bill on time, thank you very much. No where does it say someone has to pay days in advance. They have until that day. I owe you no explanation but I gave you one. You attempted character assassination of me, which is extremely odd since you don't know me. For you to wish me ill will is appalling and I take it as a threat, so I will be contacting the reviewers of this website as well because you are the obvious issue. You can't spell. You use a lot caps. And you side with a multi-billion company which has a lot of negative reports against it, Angela. You have no idea what CFNA was doing. No company has anyone wait an hour before answering the phone. I obviously cannot ask YOU to reason, so I will not, but I find you to be a disgraceful and awful, threatening person. I don't hope anything negative happens to you. I am more intellectual than that. GROW UP!
