 This places is disgusting!  DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! SO I decided to rent this place and I did not take a look at the reviews so please be aware. I rented this place on the 1st as they were kicking someone out but I did not get to move in until the 7th and still have to pay full rent.

After moving in I would see notes in te hall going to my place of bed bugs and roaches and would just turn my head. After talking to Bonnie the owner she screamed at me when I asked about the issue. So I started to do some digging on thsi place and found all the negetive reviews. I see bugs in the hall and all type of things I have mold all around my place and I am sick from this. I have called the city of milwaukee and they are looking into the conditions at this place.

Bonnie who own the building is a terriable person not only does she wear to much make up she F$$$K yuo out of your money. I am paying over 1000.00 a month without a washer and dry that I was promised. The parking is terriable  the guy who rus the lot lost my keys for one. Talking to him it sounds like he did not graduate from high school how do you call youeself a manager. I paid 90 a month plus deposit and I turned in letter saying that I did not want to renew parking and the idot lost the letter. Whwn asked about it he told me that he never received the letter and I still had to pay. I was told that I had to pay if not I would be going to court. I did not want to deal with this so I just paid.

The Manager of the place Connie is nice but she just does whatever Bonnie tells her to do. DO not make the mistake of moing into this place you will regret it.

My girlfiend was stuck on the elevator for three hours, the elevator always breaks down, We only have 2 elevators and they turn one of them off on the weekend.  and the laundry room smells like dirty underwear!  not only that they only have 4 washers & dryers for a 150 unit building!! DO NOT RENT HERE!

Folks, I broke my lease last year and was so livid that I began the process of trying to gather all the angry tenants together to make a difference in this woman (Bonnies) management process. Well, I fell short. I got out of that hell hole and I put it behind me. Then I got the letter from her attorney 6 months later for the losses she suffered. 

Since then I have retained the help of an excellent litigator, who is also a close friend, and he will be arguing my case in court in July. I would ask that any and all people who have had an issue with Bonnie Joseph, Connie, or any form of Chalet at the River managment, ownership, maintenance to please contact me at (((redacted)))

This woman has HUGE political clout and will use every bit of it to squeeze the little guy (or girl) for every penny they have.

 I am sorry to hear about your horrible experience as a tenant at this property.  I know first hand how you feel.  I just broke my lease in Feb due to bed bugs and the office staff's unwillingness to compromise.  I lived at the Chalet for 6 months and experienced bed bugs, roaches, rats in the parking lot, insufficient heating, an unsealed and unusable bathtub, ceiling water damage (and what I think was mold because I was always sick when I lived there) and harrassment from the Office Manager.  Please contact me to discuss.  I am definitely disputing this.  (((email redacted)))

I agree completley and am not even sure if Bonnie exists as Connie won't give me her number. I rent a commercial office space in the basement which has been destroyed by three floods caused by the abandonded resteraunt above us. I'm taking them to small claims for damages and would aprecciate anybody who has had to deal with this company to send me there names numbers and horror stories to serve as witnesses to the neglect the building owners have for it's tenants.
