It seems to me that the department of motor vehicles or authority that collects taxes would take an interest in this car lot.

Why? They are re-selling cars that have been re-possessed at an alarming rate. Bells and whistles should go off and an investigation should be ordered to ensure that all taxes for sales of motor vehicles they have collected have in fact been paid to the state.

If this dealer is cheating the public at such an alarming rate, what makes you think that they would be paying the taxes they collected from the consumers? I can almost guarantee you they are sticking that money in their pockets. If this is the case and can be proven ( take any contracts and receipts with you for their examination) this lot will be closed post haste. Once the dealership and it's principals are caught on this one, they will be out of business permanently.

Also, I would contact the internal revenue service. Provide as much details and proof of payments as possible, they will take an enormous interest in their operation. If these people will cheat you, they will cheat the government as well. Seems to me...one of the first places they would look would for would be the collection and reporting of wrecker services and repossession fees collected...

Shut these crooks down!
