I recently purchased a used BMW from Chevrolet of New Rochelle 3 weeks ago. I was informed the BMW I purchased was never in an accident by the sales person Camille who told me its practically brand new with only 12k miles on it. After I purchased it I called her regarding a scratch on the windshield which took place when she was cleaning the car for me and she never returned my calls or texts. I then brought the car 5 days later to an auto body shop to change the color of the exterior paint and they informed me the bumper had been repainted. I immediately called the Manager Franklin when Camille did not answer the phone asking if this car was in an accident. He asked why and I said the auto body shop thinks it was repainted and possibly in an accident. He said its common to paint the bumper if there are scratches. I asked if the car was in an accident and he said he didn't believe so but would find out and call me back. He never called me back. When he didn't call back I called again and he said he was running around and off the next day but would call me on Thursday. Franklin never called back on Thursday or Friday. I tried Camille that week and she also ignored my calls. The following week I called again and neither of them returned my calls. When I finally got Franklin on the phone he again said he would have to call me back in 10 minutes and never did. When I called back the next day, I finally got Camille to answer the phone and she said she was on vacation last week and that she would find out from Franklin and get back to me. I asked why she didn't return my texts and she said she changed her phone #. Everything was getting very sketchy! And Again- nobody called me back When I finally had the time, I called the receptionist and said I would be coming by. I went into the dealership that night was told Camille had left for the day and Franklin was across the street at the truck department. (he was hiding to avoid seeing me) When I waited until around closing time he finally arrived and played it off very cool. When I went to his office he starting showing me his computer screen with websites already pulled up with prices and comparisons to my vehicle! I said why are you telling me this? Was it in an accident and he said it was in an accident but the car was a great deal. I said excuse me and he said if you want to trade the car back I would happy to do that at 5k less than I paid! I was fuming mad and asked to speak with the finance manager about cancelling the transaction and then he began threatening to call the police and asked me to leave the premises. This dealership lied to me and then ignored me for 2 weeks. This is completely unacceptable, unprofessional and I was ripped off. The car was over priced by $5000-$10,000 due to the accident and it doesn't drive properly at high speeds. I am unsure of what I can do at this time but was hoping you could help

Where do you get the idea that the car is overpriced that much due to the accident ? And you state that the car doesn't drive properly at high speeds but what is the actual cause or that ? Is it even related to the accident ? Did you receive a carfax on this vehicle? Does it show a accident ?  It sounds like your more upset with them not returning your calls rather then the vehicle. You obviously didn't care that much about the vehicle if you bought it to just change the color. There isn't much you can do. The paperwork is already signed and if the contract doesn't state anything about the vehicle not being in a crash and that was a stipulation of sale then there isn't anything you can do. Especially if the vehicle was repaired there is no way the value is less by what you think at all. Don't shoot the messenger here you asked for help and this is my opinion. A lot of people aren't thorough with there investigation of a vehicle before purchasing one.
