I, too, am a victim of CPS as are my three healthy children. The FBI have confiscated our computers because there is suspicion of receiving and sending child pornography (not of our children). My husband has been depressed and has been out of work for a year. It doesn't take a genius to realize that I was pregnant and had a newborn + two additional older children, a full-time job, paying for daycare and private school, taking the kids to soccer, etc. How would I have time to look at anything on the internet! I just was too exhausted. We were lucky to get homework done.

Nonetheless, without any evidence or proof produced to CPS and NO charges, the FBI told CPS to remove the children. This is after the Tucson Police Department said that they closed their case. I have divorced my husband (of course) and have sent him packing. Still, no charges have been filed. My kids have been in CPS for 21 days and counting. How can this happen? All the girls do is ask for me. I am so worried. I was doing everything and now my children are gone.

Defend Yourself, and request a dependency hearing

AUTHOR: Donald - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 14, 2007

Definitely get an attorney. The court has to supply you with at least a court appointed one. There actually are some very good attorneys that can represent you. Remember if you get one you don't like, you can always change them.

Most attorneys, and other so called experts will tell you that there is only a 2 percent chance of you winning your dependency hearing, and in a way they are correct. We defended ourselves, and won, even though the attorneys claimed that in all likely hood that we would lose the case, so remember to stick to your guns, and fight it to the bitter end.

You have nothing to lose except your children, and that is a given if you do not fight them. CPS claims that their intent is to eventually get the family back together again, but that is a complete falsehood. They get more funding from the Federal Government if they can get more children into foster care situations.

CPS in Arizona is nothing more than another form of the Gestapo. Remember to watch your back at all times, and never give them any information other than that which is definitely necessary in order for you to visit your children while in their custody.

Get a lawyer

AUTHOR: Ashlee - (U.S.A.)

From your report I do believe that you were not the one looking at child porn, what mother in thier right mind would. You have to look at it from the other side to, your then husband was looking at child porn while there was 3 children in the house, hopefully he has no molested them and they are to scared to say anything, i'm sure this is what the cops, child protection is thinking.

You did the right thing by divorcing him, what a sick *&*&. You need to get a good lawyer so you can prove your case and that it was not actually you yourself putting the children in danger, yes they were essentially in a "dangerous situation" living w/ a freak but i'm sure you didn't know that.

I'm wondering though how the CPS started this investigation? Where they tipped off, did one of the children say something? They had to have had a reason to investigate your house and confinscate your computers. Did you have previous CPS claims and they were tracking you? Good luck on getting your children back, they do deserve to be w/ you thier mother.
