I purchased a brand new 2015 Chrysler 200 the last day of the month in November 2014. At the end of February 2015 I had the 200 for roughly three months when I had put the car in drive and it would not drive. Later on during that day I had put it in reverse and it would not reverse.

As I was driving down highway 75 in Dallas my car was in drive and would not drive at all. My foot was pressed down on the gas and the car would not move. The next day I took my car to Chrysler dealership where I purchased the car and they said nothing was wrong with the car. While they still had my car in the shop I received an email from Chrysler stating there was a recall on the car. They preformed whatever needed to be done for the recall and again said nothing was wrong with my transmission. (car in shop two days)

Days later the car did the same thing. It would be in drive and not drive. Or be in reverse and drive forward. This time I took my car to the Chrysler dealership of Lovefield. After inspecting the vehicle and talking to Chrysler they determined that the transmission in my car needed to be replaced. (car in shop 3 weeks)

A few weeks after getting my car back it started doing the same thing. It would be in drive and not drive. I took the car back to the Lovefield location. After being in the shop for weeks they determined it was something with the air bag. (car in shop 3 weeks) When the tow truck company came to get my stalled car, they hit my car. I had to get a new bumper and they had to paint the back of my new car. While my car was either at the paint shop or the service department in Chrysler my phone mount was taken from my car and is yet to be replaced. I have been without my car mount for almost two months now and the dealership said they would replace it.

I have a case open with Chrysler and at first they said they would pay one car payment for me ($360 dollars). I use my car to drive for Uber on the weekends and have been without the new car I have been paying for for months now and that's all they wanted to give me. On top of all the days i have had to miss work from my full time job to take the car to the shop and with it being stalled on the side of the rode. Now, they are saying I can trade my car in for another Chrysler and they will give me $2,000 to put towards the new car I purchase. I would be upside down on my loan and $2,000 would barely be enough to cover the taxes and title on a new car. And there will be a finance charge. This entire experience has been a joke. Everytime I go to the dealership no one knows whats going on. No one knew where my bumper was when they told me to come in on a certain day and time. The car is a lemon!

You don't carry proper insurance for this "business" either!  Just wait until somebody you're driving around sues you as the result of a collision.  Oh will you ever find out the cold, hard facts of life!

You better read your warranty...

There are a few things going on here.

First of all you have to determine what your State's definition of a "Lemon" is.  If having your transmission go in less than a year meets that definition, then you must follow your States procedure for getting it taken care of under the Lemon Law.

From what you have posted you were without a car for a total of 6 weeks, and they have offered to pay for 1 month.  Unless you have a warranty that says they owe you more, you do not have any valid claim.  In fact I bet it is actually the other way, where the warranty specifically says it isn't responsible for things that they have been covering.

However, all of this may be a mute point.  With just about every warranty, they do not include "commercial" use.   Where contrary to what the company may want you to believe, when you are driving people around for money that is considered "commercial" use.

Based on what you are posting it sounds like you want them to pay for your lost earnings from your fares.  If that is really what you are saying, you need to tread very lightly.  As if they haven't already they may really look at enforcing that "commercial" clause and you get nothing.
