On August 17, 2013 in Grapevine, Texas, my daughter was involved in a hit-and-run by a vehicle insured by Chubb.  A police report was filed, including an EYEWITNESS statement from the gentleman in the car behind her which was given to the police and which confirmed the vehicle make/model and actions.

After speaking with Chubb Claim Examiner Heather Lindsay, we were told that her adjuster had measured the damage to our vehicle ($1,140 estimated repair cost) and that there was "no way" the accident could've happened.  We asked Ms. Lindsay to get a 2nd opinion from another adjuster and her response was "no".  We asked if she had contacted the eyewitness and taken a statement and her response was "no, I don't need to - there is no way it happened."

Well, it DID happen and a kind gentleman made sure the police recorded his statement.  I feel like Chubb is playing dirty and hoping we will just go away.  Grapevine Police responding officer S. Hardin has full contact info for the eyewitness in his notes and Chubb won’t even call the guy!

 I think you responded to the wrong post.  My complaint has nothing to do with making payments easier.

  Making your payment "easier"??   Whose job is it to do that?   Let me take a wild guess.  They want you to make payments as agreed and you don't want to.  Am I getting warm?
