Circuit City Advantage Plan took my money and ran, no help from customer service on advantage plan ripoff Albany New York

Pack the following items in your car: your broken TV, a lawn chair, a large piece of posterboard, a heavy black magic marker, and a small cooler with snacks and beverages (this may take a while and you may get hungry).

Go to Circuit City on a Saturday around noon, just as the store is getting busy. Set up your lawn chair right by the front door, with your broken TV next to it. Take your posterboard, and write on it in big letters: "CIRCUIT CITY SOLD ME THIS BROKEN PIECE OF JUNK." (Such a statement is fact, after all, and therefore cannot be misconstrued as libel, so no worries there.) Sit in the chair and proudly hold up your sign, gaining as much attention as possible from passers-by. Munch on your snacks if you get hungry, like I said you may be there a while so it is always smart to be prepared.

At any rate, you will surely gain the attention of Circuit City, and they will know that you truly mean business. It will be amazing how quickly they snap into action and take care of any outstanding issues that they have been ignoring all this time.

In response to the person who is questioning the problem with the tv.

According to the Advantage Plan it does not matter what the problem is,they will repair or replace the tv,NO HASSLE.

Anyways the problem is not that they won't fix it. I can't even get anyone to get a service guy to my house,the first repair facility called three days after i contacted cc to tell me they do not repair tv's for cc.So i call cc back and asked if there is another service center that could do the work and I was told someone would get back to me in 72 hrs.That is rediculous.I was on the phone for 1.5 hrs. today trying to get an answer as to what they are going to do next,Well i spoke to 7 different people at cc including corporate and still no solutions,and in that 1.5 hrs. that i have nothing better to do with,I was disconnected 3 times.They are the most unprofessional people I ever dealt with.

So i sit here and twittle my thumbs until they decide to call me.cc had no problem charging me for the plan though!!!!

You fail to mention what is wrong with your TV that needs servicing. This is a very important detail to your complaint, as not all problems are covered by the CC warranty. Perhaps if you share this information, you will be able to get some valid responses.
