Clayton Homes/Vanderbuilt Mortage Didn't follow through; "Washed his hands of the homes sold" Kingsport , Tennessee

I was told by a co-worker that he had a friend in Tennesse that sold doublewide homes at the Clayton Homes in Kingsport. I went to meet him and got the ball rolling on a new doublewide home for myself. I had never owned anything in my life and was 50 years old. I had a good job so all went well. My son was in Iraq and I hoped to have all done by the time he came home.

The home finally got here and a man named Gabriel was slent to take care of the problems. I had cabinet doors hanging from the hinges after the first week. He said that it was due to the ride from Tennessee to North Carolina.I thought that ws reasonable. He handed me a box of screws slightly larger than the ones that were falling out of the cabinets. He said to just replace them with these as they fell off. LOL.  I am a very capable woman so I said ok. 

He had ordered two sets of mini lbinds to replace the two that were broken during set up. He was sent the wrong size and it was going to take a couple weeks to get the correct ones resent, I waited for him to return for weeks calling every week to make an appointmant so I would be at home. He finally turned off his phone. He had mentioned personal health problems to me; bi-polar.
 
I called the seller and he said he would get someone else out there. He sent a man named James. James ordered the same miniblinds that gabriel did and got sent the wrong size also. It seemed to me that it was all delay tactic. He looked at my kitchen sink counter where it had a big raised bubble. He said that it was warped and he would order me another. a couple of months passed and finally he answered his phone to tell me that he had no was to get it to my house. He had the counter  but it had a small chip out of the side that he thought he could fix with the trim off the existing sink. This sounded like pretty shabby work to piece something together with some other brokern piece. I said I would bring my sons expedition over and we could put it on the top.  He said he would get back to me the next day. 

Well I called back a few days later to have him tell me that he had spoken to Frankie, the seller and Frankie had "washed his hands of these homes". I found out that Frankie had moved to another location and was not honoring these. Here I sit now three years later at 53 with my sink bubbled, my roof doesn't meet evenly, the floor is almost like a step down it is so un-even.

Now other things are falling apart. The shower nozzel fell apart and was leaking behind the wall into the closet of the spare bedrom. It was leaking under the wall into the bathroom floor. Now we have mold in the wall of the bedroom closet and the bathroom.  

I have had a change of jobs that has put me four months behind on my house payments. Do you think they are as patient as I was? They call three or four times a day. I do not pick up anymore because they yell and fuss and transfer me to another person to fuss and yell at me. I will pay for this P.O.S. but I am having problems. I wish I had never bought this house. I wish I had waited for my son to have been home to help me with the issues. It is too late but everyone needs to know that being nice doesn't get you anywhere. I now owe $127,000. and it will be fallen down before me.
