I was attempting to call DELL TECH SUPPORT online when I got connected with this business I thought they were DELL. people. They assured they could fix my virus problem. By the time I realized they were not whom I was trying to reach they were doing stuff on my computer. I felt obligated because they were remotely connected to my computer I hesitated to say anything about not doing business with them. In the end through high pressure sales persistence I agreed to pay $2300 to them for their work and life time support for my home network. They also told me that what they were doing with cover my digital TVs and up to 20 other devices in my home.
I did not realize they were not Dell until I receive the invoices. I REQUESTED MY MONEY BACK FROM THEIR 45 DAY MONEYBACK GUARANTEE AND THEY ARE REFUSING.
They advise you to follow section 9.
9. MONEY BACK GUARANTEE
9.1. As described below, end users who purchase and receive the services from our trained Remote Technology Support Specialists are eligible for the Click4support Money Back Guarantee (the “Guarantee”) as explained on the www.Click4support.net website.
9.2. Refund Process. End Users who meet the requirements may request a refund by following the process described below. Refunds will be granted only if all of the instructions below are followed.
9.3. Refund requests must be sent via e-mail to refundrequest@Click4support.net. No requests via postal, fax or in person will be accepted.
9.4. Refund requests must be submitted within 45 days after the service is purchased from the Click4support website.
9.5. Refund request must include a detailed report of why you desire a refund. All allegations are subject to review and remote login. A refund will be granted only if Click4support is unable to solve the problem.
9.6. The refund will be credited to the credit card used for the purchase.
9.7. Only one Guarantee refund per household per calendar year.
9.8. Click4support does not cover the cost of parts, hardware, software, hardware replacement or repair. Any refund requests from users that experience hardware failure will not be granted, as hardware malfunctions are not insured, covered, or warranted by Click4support or any of it’s affiliates.
I have done all of that and they are refusing to refund my $2300.
THIS COMPANY PRETENDS THAT THEY ARE – SUPPORT AND THEY NEVER TELL YOU WHO YOU WERE ACTUALLY CALLING. HOW IS THIS STILL HAPPENING TO PEOPLE. EVERY PERSON THAT YOU TALK TO IS IN INDIA, THERE IS A HUGE DELAY WHEN YOU WERE ON THE PHONE WITH THEM AND BEEPING.
DO NOT DO ANY TYPE OF BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY EVER AND IF YOU HAVE BEEN A VICTIM FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC IMMEDIATELY.
