Closeoutgenius BAIT AND SWITCH SCAMMERS! Internet

I regret I didn't check this company out through Ripoff Report first. But I was enticed by their #1 Google hit for the Garmin product I wanted and they had a price that was lower than CostCo. After I placed my order I received an email saying they needed to confirm order info for security reasons. When I called them they attempted to sell me map updates but I was not interested. Whithin seconds of refusing to buy the map updates I received another email advising me my order was cancelled becuase it was supposedly out of stock. This story didn't sound right so did some surfing and found out this is the company's M.O.

This is fraud. They never intended to sell me that item at that price and I do not believe for a second that it was "out of stock". If that was true they would have said so when I called, not 5 seconds after I decline the up-sell!

DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!
