CNET.COM Malware and unwanted software is being included with requested downloads Internet
The last two times I downloaded genuine software from CNET, they have piggybacked malware along with the desired software downloads. They caused popup advertising to frequently comeup with web searches. One of them was stated to be an upgrade of Internet Explorer 10 which I understand if downloaded would have caused all types of havoc on my computer. Fortunately I did not fall for this even though it came up on a popup on almost every web page. In addition, downloads include unwanted toolbars that you have to uncheck if you want to avoid getting them with the desired software.
