Cobblestone Auto Spa Cheated out of a Hand Wax after a deal was negotiated. Chandler Arizona

After being hounded by Cash (window repair guy) on 3 separate visits to Cobblestone to replace a windshield on one of my cars, I finally negotiated a deal with him & the store manager Carlos for a month’s worth of free car washes on one of my cars (my other car was on a monthly plan) and a hand wax for the other car. I was taking two cars to them on a weekly basis for over a year and I believe it’s the 2^nd or 3^rd windshield I’ve had replaced on two cars through them. On my previous windshield replacement with them, I negotiated a free hand wax on one of my cars. When I went in last week to redeem my hand wax, I was totally jerked around by Carlos and Cash, both denying that a free hand wax was included. I was there to get my car washed and as it turned out to also get a new crack in my windshield repaired. Instead of receiving a hand wax I received a cheesy spray-on wax job. Carlos went on to tell me that; #1 “After washing my car”, if I didn’t have the crack repaired he was going to charge me $42.oo for the wash. #2 No way was this was ever promised to me and #3, they never discount their prices which at this point I knew he was blowing BS at me. Everything is negotiable in this world especially services provided at car washes. Cash knew the terms of our deal & basically referred everything back to Carlos who continued to talk to me like I was some dumb kid going in for my first car wash. As often as I frequented their business with two cars and spend money, I’m totally disappointed in how dishonest both Carlos & Cash turned out to be. To further my belief about Cobblestone, I emailed their corporate office twice to no avail. I never even got a response. Needless to say, Cobblestone isn’t the only car wash in town and has proven to me that they lack integrity in how they treat loyal customers. Furthermore, they often use the same rags to clean the inside if the windows as they use to wipe down the car which leaves film that is easily noticed at night time. Although their location is by far closer to me, I will drive an additional 10 minutes to any other car wash that provides quality service.
