I commissioned this company to pick up and delivery my newly purchashed leather sofa and love seat. Poor choice for services. The furniture was delivered damaged. The furniture's wooded legs were sacratched and damaged. I contacted this company and spoke with Roger. He insisied that his company did not do the damage. He flatly refused to accomadated for the damage to my new furniture.
He continued to ask me "what do i want him to do?". I asked that he make it right and submit to his insurance company for the damages and liability. He refused to do so. My mistake...... I thought this was a fair honest company that i was dealing with. Therefore, i shall pursue all legal remedies to my problem. I do not recommend this company for any their services. They are not dishonest scounderals.

My name is Roger Panitch, and I am the local owner of College Hunks Hauling Junk and College Hunks Moving. This client contacted me today to express concern that her furniture was damaged by my company. We did transport her furniture from a furniture warehouse to her residence, and it was properly protected. We delivered it to this client and all was well. Keep in mind that this happened in December of 2011. We are now one day away from May, and she is calling me to state that we messed up her furniture. She claims that no one has been in her house and that the furniture has not been moved at all since we delivered it.
To be specific, the client claims that the wooden legs of the couch are scratched. I have no idea if anyone has moved the furniture in the four plus months since we delivered it. Or if by chance the legs were scratched either by a vacuum bumping up against it, or other potential cleaning methods. Or, if an acquaintance of hers happened to damage the furniture and not be forthcoming with the information. Once again, I have no idea. And because this was brand new furniture we asked that she inspect it upon delivery - which at that point there was no damage. I apologize that I cannot fix the wood on her furniture, but after four plus months there is no way to know if we were at fault. She claims it was us, but there is no way for me to verify this information.
I can tell you that College Hunks Moving has damaged some items in the past. And when we do, we immediately stop the job and alert the client. We then take care of the client to ensure they are happy. The majority of our moves happen without any damage, but I would be lying if I said there is never an issue. I am confident in the service we provide and our customers rave about us.
