Comcast - Atlanta No Service for Two Months- still charged,5 Techs, Account Ex to amend bill but overcharged two months now still no calls returned and charged for questioning bill! Decatur Georgia

Lost internet service begining October 2013. After 3 days were they said they were working in the area service came back but was basically unusable. It was intermittent to the point of a few seconds on then off then on then off. Sometimes I'd have it for 10 minutes, sometimes an hour then no service for days. Unable to work, pay bills, kids unable to do homework - called over and over and over. 

Sent at least 5 different Techs. Many calls inbetween - one call from 6 pm till after 1:00am. One Tech told me they had upgraded and my modum was outdated and should have received notice. Never received any information. Was told I could rent another or buy my own. I bought my own. Still no internet. Next a Tech told me the new modum was bad, bought another. Was told there was too much signal on the line downgraded the line. - another Tech said the same thing but now outside where it came into the house, downgraded signal once again. Next told me my router and new computer was bad- All of our computers must be bad. Got an outside person to confirm all my equiptment in order. Finally a tech #5 checked the line at the pole- wires chewed and noise on line coming into house! Another tech call to repair- didn't bring any help so I had to help him install cable. This is now the week before Thanksgiving! 

Internet finally working- have an account executive helping me - Mrs. Callahan. Thanksgiving- internet back out. Another tech sent he finds the signal still to high but past my pole so now they have to call maintaince to fix. Told they didn't find anything but I told them If I happen to have signal at the time then maybe it wasn't but internet still going in and out. Finally begining of December I have internet service- so basically 2 months on unusable service- countless hours on the phone- I mean countess as the hold times are horrendously long. Many rude awful people who were condescending and most over and over told me it must be my fault. Finally got a person on the phone to promice to document how they can see the internet going in and out yet. Others who said the same thing didn't document or so was told.

I ened up having surgery a week before Thanksgiving and talked to Mrs. Callahan and who said for all my trouble she would change my bill ,which I paid in full those two months, for the next 6 months to 29.00. So I get December's Bill - instead of the regular 72.44 or the 29.00 it is 148.09. This included a 30.00 self install charge  - was told they sent something by UPS but no idea what? Another charge of 39.95 for Technician visit.

I called and called and called Mrs. Callahan - this is the week before Christmas. I never reached her. Called the regular billing number only to be told I owed the money, she wouldn't listen to what had been going on and hung up on me.  I had no choice but to pay this bill or get charged late fees and hurt my credit  so I paid the bill. 

On the 24th got a call from another woman taking Mrs. Callahan's calls. She said the 29.00 wouldn't start till January and the two charges were a mistake and would be credited. Also at the very begining, was told I should add a 3.95 charge so I wouldn't have to pay for technician's visits. Of course since it was all problems outside my home which should have been checked first time and was told he checked the lines at the pole(lied). This woman now tells me that charge is only good to tell if inside wires and my modum I owned was bad, nothing to do with tech visits so I asked for that to be removed.  

Now I get January bill - no credit was given and now I get another charge of 60.00 for Trouble Call. They are charging to complain about mistaken charges they have made! Called Mrs. Callahan the only person who supposedly has some power to help. No returned call. 

I also contacted William Gerth by email (only choice given) at we can help at comcast.com in December. No responce.
