My order was placed December 6, 2014 through the Committed Jewelry Etsy store. Payment was made for $71.00 and a confirmation email was received.

On January 3, 2015 an email was recieved from Committed Jewelry claiming there was a glitch and their Etsy listing was on "automatic renewal" and they got more orders than anticipated. Even with that said, my order was promised to ship the following week.

On January 24, 2015, another email was recieved from Committed Jewelry apologizing again for the wait, but the order had been printed for Elisa Gomez (the owner) to make my rings. Committed Jewelry claimed my order would be ready for shipment the following week.

The Committed Jewelry Etsy store closed shortly after the final email was received by them. Attempts were made to reach Elisa Gomez (the owner) on many occasions, all without any response. I reached out to Etsy, but they were no help. All Etsy could tell me was that the time frame to submit a complaint or "open a case" had passed and there wasn't anything they could do. This is not fair for the consumer, especially when the owner of an Etsy shop sends "update" emails about your order for weeks. As a consumer, your first thought is not that this could be a stall tactic and they may be ripping you off. Instead, you patiently wait ... which is what I did, and many others too.  Committed Jewelry sent emails right up until the alotted time frame had passed for Etsy to step in and help. Then all email correspondence from Committed Jewelry stopped. Coincidence or strategic?

After a year of sending emails and messages, I took my complaint to social media (February 2016) and almost immediately started getting comments from Committed Jewelry. It was excuse after excuse, the blame was put on Etsy, stating that Etsy shut her down for not keeping up with orders and she had no access to any of those orders. If she had no access to my order, order information, email and shipping address because Etsy shut her down... please explain why I received the confirmation of the order, the email explaining the delay, and the final email that stated my order was being made that week and would ship the following week. For Committed Jewelry to claim she didn't have access to my order is a complete lie. Elisa Gomez (the owner) also claims that Etsy took all of the customers payments and she didn't get any of the money. She also said Etsy is saying she owes them money...upwards of 10,000 dollars. I don't believe a word or excuse she says. She begged me to take the negative comments about her company down. I agreed to issue an Update, but only when she made the situation right and I had received my order.

I received multiple emails, messages over the next 2 weeks -- requesting my order information, shipping address, etc. I provided her with all the information and was told on March 3, 2016 that my order would ship March 5, 2016. It has now been 2 more months (May 11, 2016) and I have still NOT received my order. I have emailed, messaged, and tried to get in touch with Committed Jewelry over and over ... now I get zero response, and I have been blocked on Instagram and Twitter. I have seen many many complaints for this company and all say the same thing ... never received their order, Committed Jewelry stopped responding to emails, and they were all blocked on social media.

Elisa Gomez does not run an honest business ... DO NOT order from Committed Jewelry ... Elisa Gomez is a THIEF!!

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

she doesn't pay

AUTHOR: Speedy - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, December 30, 2016

Good Evening! I just wanted to post a message to let Committed Jewelry customers know about the unprofessional and fraudulent practices of the owner of this "company". Elisa Gomez hired me as her personal assistant and fired me after 2 weeks for not meeting her high standards. That was not so big a deal. This is a right to work state, so she can fire me just for bringing negative energy into her home like she said. The big deal is that she has not paid me for hours I did work. Before she fired me she gave me a check for one week's pay and the check bounced.

She promised to take care of it and then ignored my messages and calls. The only time she would contact me back was when I mentioned that I would have to call an agency or lawyer to help me solve this situation. Then she said she would mail me a check. It has been almost 3 weeks and I have yet to receive anything from her. At this point, I am struggling to just get my bills paid, and put food on the table for my kids. Just be aware of who this person is before you buy from her.
