Comp USA Rebate Fiasco Akron Ohio

I purchased an HP Desktop Computer, Monitor and several peripheral pieces of equipment for the computer. My total purchases came to $2,500. I should have received $300 worth of rebates. I purchased the items at the beginning of September.

I just received the rejection notices by email for part of the rebates. I filled out all of the information and saved copies of the mail in rebates and receipts. They told me that they didn't receive the rebates until 11-10-2006.

I sent them in before the post mark date in September. My mistake was that I thought this company was legitimate. I should have had the mailed the rebates as registered mail. After getting the rejection I went to the store and they looked up all the rebates. I think only two were accepted for $20. They told me that they would get back to me on the others. I have had to keep bugging them to get the details. So far they have only paid lip service that they are checking into the issue.
