It was December 19, 2012; when I learned how low-down the Continental Finance Company is to a customer that pay's my entire month's bill every month and never late.
Sure it's almost Christmas and I was in town to visit family, so I reserved a car rental to make the 90-mile drive to see my seventy-year-old mother but before I arrived at the car renal I pulled out my laptop to check my credit card balance when I discovered a $200.00 extra charge approved. Therefore after speaking with the company that made a miscue over-charging me, I decided to still alert the Matrix "Discover" Card.
Yet they tell me not to worry about the $200.00 extra charges because my account has been "Revoked!" As a customer that secured a $800.00 credit limit on their card with their bank, because I'm rebuilding my credit, and has Always Paid The Entire Monthly Charges In Full, I couldn't believe it. They tell me it's been revoked because each month I pays too much. Like for my November bill, my charges exceeded to $810.34 so I paid $810.34
The end result, this company is full of S*it! And I'm contacting my State Attorney General Office and filing a complaint, in addition to the State of Delaware Attorney General because this company needs to be Shut Down. Because with my "Revoked" card I could not rent the car, visit my mother or family, no nothing. And the worst part, this company didn't even contact me to inform me that they were Revoking my Card...basically because they can't make ANY interest off Me! Other than my $800.00 Security Deposit that's sitting in their Bank!? And if you ask me, that's enough!
I would encourage anyone who's having a problem with Continental Finance Company to report them to their State Attorney General Office and the State of Delaware Attorney General Office so this company can receive enough complaints to be forced out of business.
