Summary:

On 7/26/13 I was sold 4-nights Feb. 16-20, 2014 a City Corner Suite at Vdara hotel but was booked in only a Deluxe Suite.  When I complained on Feb. 4, 2014, the Perp canceled my Deluxe Suite and kept my $714 pre-paid.

Detailed:                

On 7/26/13 4:08pm on a recorded line, I received a call from Shari of Convention Travel Services (CTS) from Caller ID phone number 702-701-9700.

My call was transferred from Shari to Danny Ranny, who offered me 4 nights in a "City Corner Suite" at Vdara hotel for Feb. 16-20^th, 2014 for the rate of $150/night plus "surcharges" at $28.50 for 4 nights totaling $714. I signed a sales agreement from Convention Travel Services on 7/26/13. I received via email invoice 134580 Convention Housing Services on August 1^st, 2013.

On February 3^rd, 2014, I emailed kim@conventiontravelservices.com asking her to call me about my reservation.  I faxed them 7 pages successfully to 702-478-8279 and I also left detailed voice messages on their phone number: 702-701-9700, 888-552-3818 and 866-563-8944 numbers in September 2013 and again today and I have not received a call back from.

On the recorded phone call dated 7/26/13, I have CHS representative Danny Ranny confirming a "City Corner Suite" for $150 per night.  However, when I called Vdara's wholesale dept. reservations in September 2013 and again on February 3^th, 2014 and spoke with Suhan Hunter, 866-745-7767 - she claims that I am reserved for only a "Deluxe" Suite. (see attachment from Vdara Reservations).  I asked how much would it cost to upgrade from a Deluxe Suite to a City Corner Suite and Suhan said it would be $30 per night.  Also, Ms. Hunter told me that the reservation was booked by Tourico Holidays.

Apparently, the hotel inventory I purchased was sold as follows:

1. Hotel (Vdara wholesale dept) sells to a large wholesaler called Tourico Holidays.

            2. Tourico Holidays sells to many travel agencies, in this case called Prodo/Met Global

                        3. Prodo/Met Global sells to many travel agencies including CTS (the bad guys).

I contacted Tourico Holidays and received the following response via Email at 5:41pm on February 4^th, 2014 from:  Christian Munzenberger (Reservations Support)

Dear Mr. Addison,

Please be advised that I show this reservation as cancelled by the booking agent, as we here at Tourico Holidays do not make new bookings for clients. We are only the wholesaler, we buy the contracts to offer discounted rates to the travel agents, allowing them to book. We never collect the client's credit card, we only confirm their booking with the hotel directly, per our available inventory.

 At 9:30am on February 5^th, 2014 I received a call from Cesar Castro, a VIP Accounts Manager of Tourico Holidays, 407-667-8700 ext. 7357 – Ccastro@TouricoHolidays.com. His client a company called Prodo/Met Global, requested a cancellation and refund of my reservation on February 4^th at the request of their client (most likely from CTS in Las Vegas).  Mr. Castro was very professional and said that he has contacted Prodo/Met Global and requested a refund on my behalf.
