I enrolled into Everest College in June of 2008 in Tempe, Arizona. I didn't start my classes until July of 2008. I went to a community college in 2004 to 2006.

I wanted to get my transcripts from the community college before I started so I didn't have to take any classes over. I was told to give them the information of all the schools I went to to find out where I needed to begin school by an advisor. I did just that and sent everything through fax.

The advisor asked me for all my personal information and told me to fax it all to a number. I did just that. Also they signed me up for a computer to be sent to my home so I can do my work online. (I didn't have a computer when I signed up for enrollment)

Everything was set & I was waiting for my computer so I can start classes.(It showed up in two weeks & had the Everest logo on it) I had a letter; which was a contract, in the box that came with the computer about the rules & regulations for keeping my computer. It cost $1800 & I'd be able to keep it once I graduate if I didn't buy it off hand.

I signed it & send it off to the school. I was sent another letter for Student Loans. I told them I had already signed up for FASFA & didn't want a loan. So they manipulated me into signing up for one called Sallie Mae.

I started my classes & was doing great for the first year. I got a invoice on July 2010 to pay off my loan from Genesis Lenders. I never heard of or seen a letter from this company. They said I owe $685.89 to them for Everest College.

When I started my next year, all of a sudden I go into my online class & Its now Everest University. This threw me way off because I wasn't enformed about the change nor did I sign a consent to be switched. All my information had been sent to a school with a different name & in a different city & state Brandon, Florida.

I had a technical problem with my computer & called the tech support number for help. They said to send the computer to them & they'll send me another one. Well...I sent it back to the school & never got it back. (It was paid off through the pell grant I remind you)

I called three weeks later asking why my laptop wasn't returned. They told me that they destroyed it & didn't give laptops out anymore. So I was out of a computer to do my work. So I had to buy another one which I did.

Around the Spring & Summer of 2010, I got honor roll certificates for that year. I worked hard for that title. Around the end Summer of 2010, something told me to call about my transcripts & find out if the school got them from Everest College since I was mysteriously sent to the University without me knowing.

Come to find out NONE of my transcripts hit the admissions desk of any of the schools. Also I didn't have an advisor, they didn't work there anymore!

My total for the Spring of 2010 school loan was $12,418.54. I was suppose to Graduate in May of 2010 from Everest College. I never did also my credits weren't transferable when they sent me to Everest University. I had to start all over again even though I have my grades still in my presence.

I stopped the classes around the end of Winter of 2010. I was angry because both schools lied & fraudulently used my information to get money from grants & loans. I didn't get a degree & now I'm in default of $20,315 in Student Loans.

Now Everest University wants $1200 in back pay from me for leaving the school. I also owe another $6559.61 to Everest University for grants. Thanks to Everest all the schools pertained to Corinthian Colleges Inc., I can't survive with these outstanding balances on my credit report also I'm unable to go to another school & get a real degree to start my career. I'm now under the class of success. I'm a single mom of 4 boys & can hardly care for them nor myself.

Getting hired for a job now is like looking for a needle in a haystack. It's not right to steal a person's dream right from under them especially when it's a GROUP of people from a college or university scamming students for profit. What ever happened to we're here to see you succeed?(there motto).
