Corporate Receivables Ripoff rude and didn't notify bank of settlement Phoenix Arizona

In April 2003 a man from corporate recievables called me and stated that if I did not pay my debt to household finacial services, A warrant would be put out for my arrest. So he offered a settlment amount which I paid. Now in feb of 2005 I recieve a letter from Household bank finacial services stating I still owe them. So I contact them and the tell me that the payment I made was put in as a payment not a settlement.

Household told me to contact corporate recievables which I did and the first person I was able to speak to tells me the account is settled so she passes me over to her manager. The manager was Joe Owens. This man also said the account was settled,I then asked him to fax a letter over to household to let them know it was settled, he refused to do that, saying that he no longer has the information.I then asked who would be above him that I could speak to and he told me it was none of my business.This Joe Owens was very rude and disrespectful to me,he would not help me in anyway. He then hung up on me. I contacted household bank again and explained to them what Joe Owens had said. They tried to get me to call corporate receivables again and ask them to fax over the settlement letter.I told them,That Joe Owens said he would not do it. So right now I am waiting to see if household can get the information from them. Household told me that other people have had these same type of problems with corporate receivables.
